The nasal mucosa is the main input field for all types of viruses and bacteria. Influenza virus, coronaviruses and other related viruses must first invade the mucous membranes of the nose or throat in order to penetrate the body. In order to protect ourselves, natural obstacles in the nose and on its mucous membrane are not enough. It is the thin micro-film of propolis that covers the nasal mucosa and does not allow the viruses to attach and multiply enough to cause an infection.
